Missing you

Oh my sweet girl. Iam missing you so much right now. The calendar page is about to change and the weeks march on since you had to leave me, I am actually able to sometimes think of you without crying. Not tonight however.

If your spirit is here with me, you know all this. Keep pushing me forward and helping me to remember the lessons you offered. Unwavering loyalty, companionship, spunk, tenacity, stuborness, beauty, tenderness, toughness and love.

I miss you.

    I’m so sorry JD’s mom.
Almost 1 month is such a short time when your heart hurts. Just keep talking which helps a tiny bit. Her spirit will get your through this as hard as it is to endure.

And try to remember that JD wouldn’t want to see you sad. When you get really low, try to think about a special memory that would put a smile on your face. Something that the two of you would only know.

I think often about my Rugby in sad ways but there were so many fun memories I can turn to. Like the time, I sprayed him with body glitter for Halloween – so he’d be ‘shiney dog’! He thought that was funny and loved it!

    Sending you hugs tonight,
    Comet’s mom

That is a wonderful picture of her. I love her sweet expression. I am sorry for your pain. Time goes so slowly for this doesn’t it?

Hugs to you from here in Maine 🙁

I’m sorry that JD was dealt with such a crappy hand of cards….not fair at all.

Sending strong and peaceful thoughts your way today. Only a month since JD had to go- at times it probably seems so short, and at times such a long time ago. For me the two month mark hit me hard- I don’t know why. It does get better, and less teary, but we will never stop missing our pups.

I’ve been thinking a lot of you and JD, especially with the Sunday meet and greet coming up. I so wish she could be there, and know that it’s going to be particularly hard for you.

    Keep her spirit close.

Glad to hear from you. I am sorry that JD’s journey was cut short in such an unexpected way. Your tribute to JD is so touching. Remember all those awesome lessons she taught you.

I often think of you and JD and how hard it must be for you. It’s not fair, it never is. Remember the love and the lessons that JD so freely gave of herself. Fortis and I are sending big hugs your way.

Stay strong….keep thinking of the fun times you and JD had. JS loved your trips to the park where she could run and chase all the little critters.
Take time to heal, but always remember what a good Mom you were to JD and the happy home she lived in. Love you.
    Love and Sunshine,
    JD’ Nana 🙂

Many, many hugs coming your way….

JD’s spirit is definitely with you. Look for the signs, they are there when you least expect them.

Until then, keep writing, keep talking to her, it helps get through the sadness.

    xoxo

    Hi Debra,

Thanks so much for coming out today. It was so nice to meet you. I wish I had been able to meet Spirit JD, but I definitely felt all the love that you two shared.

    Take care!

She sure was a sweet, pretty girl. I know the pain won’t end any time soon, but at least you have your wonderful memories.
