One week today, I last stroked your sweet soft belly spots, whispered in your ear and set you free. So many people are helping me to be strong, wow you sure were loved!!!!
You are now my Spirit Angel. Help me to transform my sadness into the great memories of our years together. I want to honor your life with dignity and not sloppy tears.

Yes, JD you were one tough cookie. You had a wonderful fun filled life with your Mom. You have beeen her companion and friend for a long time.
We will all miss you, but never forget all the happy times you gave to us all. When I would come to visit you and your Mom, I always tried to keep the bedroom door closed. But, theif that you were dear girl, you always found a way to steal something from Nana’s room or take a little something from my suitcase.
You are missed by all, but like I said you will never be forgotten.

I am sure JD is with my other dog who passed away from lymphoma many years ago… May they run free in their dog heaven.

what a beautiful baby JD was!!! such a cutie pie – we have a picture of gayle looking the same way. they grow up so quickly. i know this has been a terrible week for you. hopefully, time will take the pain and sadness away…letting the happy memories peek through the darkness.

JD, we know your fight wasn’t in vain. Your Mom will continue learning from you as your spirit stays close by to help her through the good times and bad.

Such a beautiful Spirit Angel too…I bet she’s looking down on you now to let you know how much she loves you and that she’s ok….she’s making sure you’re ok too. I know this must still feel so incredibly raw and the pain of losing JD so great…words can’t describe this loss. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
